Svirsk-Petrozavodsk operation (21.06.44-09.08.44)

Svirsk-Petrozavodsk operation 1944, 21.6-9.8, armies of the left wing (32-th and 7-th) "Karelian" front in interaction with Ladoga and Onega military fleets. A part of Vyborg- Petrozavodsk operation. The purpose route the Finnish forces in South Kareliya and to restore on this site State border USSR. As a result of this operation the Soviet armies have advanced on 110-250 kms, having created the preconditions for a conclusion of Finland from war.
